These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Myla, including our mobile app and related services (the "Service").
By downloading, accessing, or using Myla, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice in-app or by other means. Continued use of Myla after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old.
You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
If you use Myla on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.
3. The Service
Myla helps you save, organize, and rediscover content from the web and social platforms and includes AI features such as Ask, summaries, and tagging.
We may add, remove, or change features over time.
4. Accounts and Security
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining confidentiality of credentials.
You must not create accounts through automated means (bots) or attempt to bypass security controls.
You must immediately notify us of any suspected unauthorized use.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Purchases
Myla may offer free and paid subscription plans. Pricing, included features, and billing frequency are shown in the app at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed by Apple via in-app purchase (StoreKit). We do not receive your full payment card details.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple ID subscription settings.
You can restore purchases in-app using the in-app restore function.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
6. User Content and License
6.1 Your content
You retain ownership of content you create in Myla (such as notes and lists). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save, import, or store any third-party content you submit.
6.2 License to operate the Service
You grant Myla a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and process your content solely to operate and improve the Service, including to provide AI features you request.
7. Imported Third-Party Content and Discover
When you submit a URL for import, Myla may retrieve information that is publicly accessible at that URL. We do not intentionally access private, password-protected, or paywalled content.
Some imported public content may appear in Discover without your personal identifiers. If you are the original author and want content removed from Discover, contact team@joinmyla.com.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use Myla for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
Upload or store content that violates others' privacy or intellectual property rights.
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
Use automation (bots) to access or interact with the Service without our permission.
Use AI features to generate or distribute harmful, deceptive, or illegal content.
8.1 Prohibited Use
We want Myla to remain a safe, ethical, and productive tool. You agree not to use Myla for any unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate purpose, including but not limited to the following:
Illegal or abusive content (zero tolerance)
Child exploitation or sexualization: absolutely prohibited.
Violence or threats: do not promote, plan, or threaten violence, terrorism, or harm toward others.
Hate speech or discrimination: do not post, import, or share content that promotes hatred or discrimination against protected groups.
Privacy violations and harassment
Doxing: do not upload, store, or share private or identifying information about others without explicit consent.
Harassment: do not harass, stalk, or bully individuals or groups.
Intellectual property and copyright
Infringement: do not import or distribute material that violates copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.
Misrepresentation: do not claim ownership or authorship of content that isn’t yours.
Security and technical misuse
Malware or spyware: do not create, store, or distribute malicious software or code intended to damage, disrupt, or monitor systems.
Phishing or fraud: do not impersonate others, falsify identity, or attempt to deceive or gain unauthorized access.
Scraping or reverse engineering: do not scrape, mine, extract data, or bypass technical protections.
System interference: do not overload, disable, or disrupt the Service or its servers.
Misuse of AI and content processing
Do not generate, distribute, or store deepfakes, misinformation, or deceptive AI-generated content intended to mislead.
Do not generate outputs that promote violence, harassment, discrimination, or illegal activity.
Do not attempt to jailbreak, exploit, or manipulate AI systems for malicious or competitive purposes.
Platform integrity
Unauthorized commercial use: do not resell, rent, or exploit Myla or its outputs for external commercial gain without our consent.
Spamming or automation: do not use bots or automated systems to interact with the platform without permission.
8.2 Enforcement
If you engage in prohibited activities, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately. We also reserve the right to report unlawful behavior to relevant authorities when required or appropriate.
9. AI Features
Myla uses AI to analyze and summarize content and to provide the Ask feature. Certain data may be transmitted to third-party processors solely to provide these features, including OpenAI (AI processing), Bright Data (import scraping), and Supadata (transcript fetching).
We do not use your content to train our own AI models. Where we use third-party AI processors, we use arrangements and settings intended to prevent your personal information from being used to train their models.
AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided "as is". You should not rely on AI outputs as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
10. Analytics and Performance Data
We use first-party analytics events to understand usage patterns, improve the Service, enforce plan limits, and maintain reliability.
11. Termination and Account Deletion
You may delete your account within the Myla app (Settings > Account > Delete Account) or by contacting team@joinmyla.com.
Upon deletion, core account and content data will be deleted from active systems; certain records may be retained for legal/compliance and security purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
We aim to delete core account and content data from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 60 days. Upon account deletion, we irreversibly de-identify analytics by removing identifiers and retaining only aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics. Certain purchase and billing records may be retained as required for legal/compliance, and security logs may be retained for a limited period for debugging and fraud prevention, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
12. Availability and Changes
The Service is provided on an as-available basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
13. Intellectual Property
Myla and its software, branding, and design are owned by ALTFLOW Limited or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Myla will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Myla from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17. Miscellaneous
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ALTFLOW Limited regarding the Service.
You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
